e-recruitment buddy; lower recruitment costs

e-recruitment buddy was founded by Michelle Jones, our Managing Director. After graduating in 1994 Michelle embarked on a sales career before landing her first recruitment job in 1997. Michelle's brief career synopsis;

  • April 97 – August 98; Recruitment Consultant (temporaries desk) for Recruit Plc.
  • Oct 98 – July 2002; Branch Manager and Senior Recruitment Consultant @ On Track Recruitment & Training Ltd.
  • 2002 – 2005; established and ran own Recruitment Consultancy business, The Recruitment Partnership.
  • April 04 – Oct 07; established and ran niche legal jobs-board, www.simplylawjobs.com prior to its acquisition in Oct 07.
  • Sept 07 – Dec 07; gave birth to her baby boy, Archie & took 4 months maternity leave whilst also selling SimplyLawJobs to Friday-Ad Holdings.
  • Jan 08 – Nov 08; working as Project/Marketing Manager for a niche group of job-boards (Simply Online Services).
  • December 2008; utilising her extensive recruitment and job-board expertise, Michelle established e-recruitment buddy to deliver cost effective recruitment solutions for a variety of businesses.

So why establish e-recruitment buddy? A statement from Michelle;

“I am not going to disrespect recruitment agencies or ask you to question how they can justify their fees – I’ve been one and I know many of them, the good ones work hard for their money. However, in this current marketplace, in certain industry sectors, there are far more candidates than jobs – so getting a response to your advert is not the issue here. What is a problem is all the administration hours you put in when it comes to handling the responses, along with the sheer amount of sources available to advertise on.

Many businesses face a daunting task when it comes to online recruiting and often waste money & time in the process, whether that is through ineffective advertising or unexpected administration time. The economic climate is affecting all of us and cutting back on recruitment costs should be a key part of a company’s strategy. I truly believe that by working with e-recruitment buddy you can seriously reduce your cost per hire. That belief, coupled with the changing recruitment industry and my personal passion for on-line recruitment is what led to the birth of e-recruitment buddy.
