Finance and Projects Professional Support Lawyer

Large legal 500 firm and one of the UK’s leading national practices in the field of Finance and Projects, are looking to recruit an experienced PSL/Fee-Earner, able to assist the key business streams within the UK Finance & Projects practice group (including Asset Finance and Leasing, Infrastructure and Project Finance, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Finance, Asset based lending, Debt Capital Markets, Trade and Commodity Finance and Islamic Finance).  

They advise on all aspects of financing across a broad range of sectors. Their lawyers offer market leading insight into specialist areas of finance and have dedicated teams working in each major jurisdiction. Their extensive network allows their clients to tap into the deep resources of their global organisation, taking advantage of their lawyers’ understanding of the particular legal risks and business opportunities that prevail in all major world markets. They have extensive experience acting for a full range of clients, on an extensive range of cross-border and national deals.  

The Professional Support Lawyer is responsible for working with others in the practice area (the Group Head, Location Heads, the Know-how Partner and other PSLs) to identify its requirements and priorities, and to put in place and carry out a plan to meet them. Responsibilities will vary, according to the skills and expertise of the individual recruited, but would typically include;  

• identifying, assessing and responding to the needs of the practice group,
• contributing to establishing the Knowledge Management strategy for the group,
• identifying training needs and project management.  

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate drive, determination, enthusiasm and an ability to work effectively as a team member.  

Salary £negotiable
