Web Systems Operator

The role is based from home and you will be part of a tightly knit team keeping in frequent contact via Skype and email. Being self motivated, organised and flexible regarding your working hours is key to fitting in with our company ethos. Indeed the nature of the role may require 'out of hours' working to resolve live system issues.

At the heart of your responsibilities is to ensure our web systems; hardware/network /major software components are fully functioning – from Remote Access Systems to reporting, back-up, system monitoring and scheduled procedures. Maintenance of our web systems; MySQL/Apache/Cold Fusion including bug fixes, minor modifications, understanding the database, Cold Fusion and HTML code, CMS and intranet functions.

In addition to your core infrastructure support role and dealing with reported service issues you will be assisting in the development of product for our clients, which requires Cold Fusion and MySQL skills.

Technical requirements for the role: Linux Administration, ColdFusion Development,
MySQL and HTML. It would also be desirable if you have JavaScript, CSS and/or Java skills.
