As a Policy Manager you will be responsible for Procurement Policy, Ethics & CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), providing direction and support to group Procurement in compliance with Regulatory and Legal requirements including Public Procurement Law and Competition Law.

This is an excellent Swindon based employer seeking a Policy manager to lead and develop the policy and business strategy. You will be managing a small team and will be the ‘function expert’ on public procurement regulation, all associated legal and government requirements (eg environment and ethical) and to ensure the function operates within the boundaries of good procurement practice.  Equally you must develop and oversee the implementation of appropriate procurement policies and processes that meet required guidelines.

To be considered for this role - you will be CIPS qualified, have strong people management and be a strategic and logical thinker. You will have an in-depth understanding of market developments around the areas of public procurement policy. Effective problem solver and the ability to develop and implements processes to improve customer service across the business
